Service Advisor (Phoenix, AZ):

SUMMARY: Responsible for meeting customers and dealing with customer requirements pertaining to repair and/or servicing of vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet and greet service customers, taking service calls from customers.
  • Advise customers daily of estimated service and repair costs and review details of service/repair invoice with customer to gain their understanding of all services provided.
  • Open and close service repair orders.
  • Determine progress of repair/service orders and inform customer daily.
  • Address customer's questions/needs promptly and professionally.
  • Establish long-term positive relationships with customers.
  • Identify service needs of customer vehicle based upon historical service data.
  • Backup for warranty processing.
  • Any other duties assigned.
  • Know and follow all of Auto Safety House's health and safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.

REQUIRED:

  • Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Moderate computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to obtain CDL.

PREFERRED:

  • Preferably 3+ years in the medium-heavy vehicle service industry.
  • Knowledge of warranty processing preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with gas and diesel engines.
  • Knowledge of AC repair.
  • Knowledge of DOT Inspections.
  • Knowledge of AZ state minimum standards for school buses
  • Class B CDL

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
